Within a half of 2008, in Sverdlovsk Region 485,300 sq. m. of housing were commissioned, that is by 22.8% more compared to the same period of 2007, a REGNUM correspondent is informed in the Russian State Statistic Service on July, 25.
Sverdlovsk Region is leading in volumes of commissioned housing, among the subjects of the Ural Federal District, on the second place is Kurgan Region (21.9%). On the average, the rates of housing commissioning increased by 16.8%. in the Ural Federal District. At the same time, Sverdlovsk Region on the amount of commissioned square meters is on the third place after Tyumen and Chelyabinsk Regions.
As they believe in the ministry of construction and architecture of the Sverdlovsk Region, the rates of commissioned housing exceeds the average index of the district in five cities of the Sverdlovsk Region. Asbest is leading in this rate (growth by 2.4 times), on the second place is Nevyansk urban district (growth by 2.1 times), on the third place is Sysert (by 2 times), on the fourth one Beloyarsky (1.4 times) and on the fifth place is Yekaterinburg (1.3 times).
According to information of Pyotr Latyshev, the plenipotentiary representative of the president of Russia in the Ural Federal District, only 18% of expected housing is built in Sverdlovsk Region by 2008. Tyumen Region reached the planned indexes most successfully, where 39% from the planned volume of housing is already commissioned.
