In coming months, Ukraine will be able to move to really open schemes and clear relationships with Gazprom affiliates without mediators. According to a REGNUM correspondent in Kiev, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko announced this at a government meeting today on July 23.
“At the meeting with Chairman of Gazprom JSC Board of Directors Alexei Miller on Tuesday, we discussed all the issues in detail, found all opportunities to close eliminate once and for all the problems of the ineffective model that had been used in Ukraine. Gas mediators will vanish from the Ukrainian market during coming months,” Timoshenko particularly said.
