According to Vladimir Putin, a closer cooperation is needed in combating man-caused and natural disasters. “All the SCO countries are interested in stability in our land. We are ready to increase cooperation in the frameworks of fighting emergencies,” he said.
The Russian president called it necessary to cooperate in trade, transportation and new technologies. “I thank my counterparts for the support and congratulations regarding the victory of Sochi in the 2014 Winter Olympics bid,” the Russian leader concluded.
