Design throughput of an oil pipeline makes 20 million tons of oil a year, however at the first stage annually on it will be delivered to China of 10 million tons of oil. Construction of an oil pipeline has been begun in September, 2004 and has come to the end in November, 2005. In realization of this project China and Kazakhstan have enclosed in total $700 millions. On the territory China has laid oil pipeline Alashankou — Dushanzy in length of 252 kilometers.
