Protection of reproductive health of the population has major state value for all without exception of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. For last decades in connection with deterioration of ecology, increase of stressful situations growth of frequency of anomaly of development, tumours, hyperplastic and inflammatory processes of female reproductive system is marked. In conditions of a modern demographic situation in the CIS countries (decrease in birth rate, relative growth of parent death rate, high children’s desease, increase of frequency of a birth of children with the genetic diseases hereditary and congenital developmental anomalies) especially actual is a problem of increase of a level of medical aid to women of reproductive age, children, pregnant women. In a uniform complex of questions of planning of family should be solved and problems of reproductive health of men, andrology, urology. Approaches to correction of gynaecologic diseases at patients of transitive and senile age require revision.
Considering a urgency and the high social importance of the listed problems, the Moscow state medical-stomatologic university, faculty of reproductive medicine and surgery, Ministry of Health and Federal agency on public health services and social development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and sciences of the Russian Federation, the Russian academy of sciences, the Russian academy of medical sciences, the Russian society of gynaecologists, the Russian association of an endometriosis, the International Academy of the Reproduction of the Person from June, 8 till June, 12th, 2006 spend in Moscow the First International congress on reproductive medicine.
The circular on carrying out of the First International congress on reproductive medicine is dispatched in more than 3500 addresses, including medical high schools of Russia, profile scientific research institutes, the ministries and departments of public health services, medical institutions (hospitals, maternity hospitals, female consultations, the centres of planning of family, medical firms), and also to leading experts and members of professional associations.
